Terms and Conditions

By booking your class and/or 1-2-1 session with Three Spotty Dogs K9 Training you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Payment Terms:

Payment in full by BACs is required at the time of booking to confirm your place for class courses, 1-2-1 training and puppy preparation visits and training, unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Cancellation Terms:

We understand that there may be occasions where you are unable to attend a pre-booked class, due to illness of either dog or client etc. In these instances, we will provide the class session training notes to you by email and a 30 minute remote session to discuss the training missed, should you so wish. Although you will pay for a 50 minute lesson in a class situation, this is not a 1-2-1 scenario unlike the 30 minute remote session and therefore you will not be disadvantaged.

Cancellation of booked whole courses need to be advised to us at least 7 days before the start of the course. We may make a minimal administration charge should we incur costs in trying to re-sell the course place.

If you provide us with less than 7 days notice and we are able to re-sell your place then a full refund will be provided less any minimal adminstration charge we might incur. If we are unable to sell your place then a refund will not be provided (save in exceptional circumstances).

Should your arranged 1-2-1 training or puppy visits need to be cancelled, these can be re-booked and the costs allocated to the rebooked session. This will be subject to any charge the venue may make for cancellation if the 1-2-1 session was being held somewhere other than your home.

Bitches in season:

Please do not bring bitches that have come into season to class. This will change the dynamics of the class considerably and both bitches and dogs will lose concentration and become harder to keep under control.

If your dog comes into season before or during your booked course, please let us know and then we can arrange to book you on the next available course. We will offset any missed classes against the cost of the next course.

Kennel Cough and Gastric upsets

It is very important that dogs are not brought to class if they are displaying any of the symptoms associated with the above illnesses.

Although gastric upsets can be something that occurs after eating things that don't agree with them, please be aware that some upsets can be highly contagious and we do not want these passing through other dogs in class. Continual sickness and/or diarrhoea should be referred to a vet.

Kennel Cough is also highly contagious and can be rife during the winter months. Please be aware of this if your dog starts coughing and do not attend class.

Aggressive dogs:

A class environment is not an appropriate environment for aggressive dogs. Please contact us to discuss alternative training options if you have a dog displaying these behaviours.

If you knowingly book an aggressive dogs onto a training course we will not provide a refund of the course fees. You will have taken the available slot and we will unlikely be able to re-sell at short notice. We can however offer advice as to a route of training/behaviour modification and management for potentially aggressive dogs and will recommend you work with a Clinical Animal Behaviourist.

Please be aware that we have a responsibility to our clients, client's dogs and colleagues to ensure that they are safe in the training environment with we provide. We may also be required to protect them and other members of the public and report any dog bites to the authorities.

Please ensure that you do not allow any dog with aggressive tendencies to be placed in any situation where they may be able to harm someone.
